The Glen Grant Exploration Series honours our forefather James ‘The Major’ Grant’s search for such inspiration as he explored the world, discovering a diversity and depth of flavours from his travels.  
From the vibrancy of our delicately aromatic spirit defined by a distinctive fruity character, the finish on these whiskies tells a story of rich layers of added flavour from the specific cask selection, enhancing the intensity of each unique taste experience.
Bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered, Exploration No. 1 is a limited-edition release matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Jamaican rum casks.  This combination of casks delivers a tropical flair with notes of spice, rich dark sugar and ripe banana.
